GDPR Art. 22 — what it means
Article 22 GDPR grants users the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal effects or significantly affects them.
Automated processes in Leggado
- Suspicious-activity detection — automated, but does NOT block your account on its own; flags for human review.
- Reminder emails and onboarding triggers — automated but not Art. 22 material.
- Death verification — receives automated intake but final release is reviewed by a person.
- Subscription enforcement — automated; effects are limited to feature access.
We don't make Art. 22 decisions on you. If we ever do, you'll be informed and given the right to obtain human review.
